To achieve its ambitious goals, TRECC mobilizes an ecosystem of diverse stakeholders with the common goal of providing every child with a good start in life and a quality education.
Through partnerships with 17 companies in the cocoa and chocolate industry, 7 ministries of the Ivorian government, 8 research partners and a dozen civil society organizations, TRECC's work to date has had a positive impact on the lives of more than 200,000 children in Côte d’Ivoire.
To ensure that all children are able to reach their full potential, we support families by promoting good parenting practices during the first years of a child’s life. We also support teachers by strengthening pedagogical practices that promote literacy and numeracy. In the pilot phase, our projects have trained 4,456 teachers, school directors and pedagogical advisors, as well 1,299 coaches and facilitators in Côte d'Ivoire.
