A cocoa farmer’s advice to become a better parent

Alain Naon is a cocoa farmer from Banguéhi, western Ivory Coast. He received training thanks to TRECC and Blommer in partnership with Hellen Keller International. He became a community health volunteer and he now gives advice to parents on nutrition, hygiene and stimulation for babies and toddlers. And thanks to this new role, he has become a better parent himself.

TRECC works to improve quality of education in Ivory Coast so that people can lead healthy and fulfilling lives and pursue the activities they value. Alain’s training is one of the multiple activities included in our partnership with the cocoa and chocolate industry.
